So its been a while since I've been able to just see a book in a shop and buy it straight up. Mainly becuase I've had a million books at home to read through, but now I've got through them I came across The Kingdom. The front-cover looked pretty cool and it looked like a dark twist on classic fairytales, so I was sold from the get go.
Now that I've got back into reading after a good month-ish off I thought I'd make a proper attempt at buying books I've wanted to read for a while. This brought me to The Hate U Give, I've wanted to read this book for about a year or so after seeing great things about it all over instagram and Twitter. So here is what I thought...
So it’s been a while since I’ve written anything. Turns out lockdown was a little trickier to deal with than I thought. Anyway, I decided to delve back into my usual reading with a book I knew I would enjoy - so that’s what brought me to The Martian by Andy Weir.
