WWW – Wednesday 1st May

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

Despite what I said last week; I went for a completely different genre of book for my next read. So i’ve now gone for ‘The Amazing Maurice and His Amazing Rodents‘ by Terry Pratchett; a book i’ve had for so many years and read a good few times now. It has been a while since i’ve read it through entirely; but I’m already really enjoying it so much – such a perfect book to read on my bus journey to work.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently finished reading ‘Struck by Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal‘ by Chris Colfer; a book that i’ve had a fondness for after watching the movie. Its such a witty and sarcastic book that looks at the life of Carson Phillips, a teenage boy in America navigating his way through school hoping to escape his dull hometown. I’ll write a more in depth review as I really love this book, but for now i’ll just say you all definitely need to go and read it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

At the moment I seem to be feeling a draw towards reading more of my old Terry Pratchett books. There is something about them that I really enjoy, I love how he created such an interesting and well-developed fictional world that I am always drawn back to.
